Brown Bag Tour
Add to your Northern Indiana Amish Country tour, by “bagging”
some fun for your group in our popular “Brown Bag Tour”.
With your knowledgeable guide, you will visit several Amish
cottage businesses along the scenic country roads. Tour
members will receive a special treat from each of the stops.
Choices include Shady Rug Weaving, B and L Woodcraft, Deutsch Kase Haus (local cheese shop), Eash Sales (where the Amish shop), E and S Bulk Food Store, Yoder’s Popcorn, or Little Helper's Quilt Shop.
Plus!! Enjoy a Thresher Meal or a Haystack at an Amish home for lunch or dinner.
Quilt Gardens Tour
In 2009, some 80,000 blooms planted in 16 gigantic gardens along with 16 super-sized murals painted and placed on buildings will represent our 7 communities in Elkhart County.
As you drive scenic backroads, a step-on guide will explain the meaning of the gardens and murals. Special exhibits, hands-on projects, and learning demonstrations will enhance your tour.
Tour runs late May to first frost.
